Boston Bruins vs. the Yarn Harlot

THE HARLOT IS COMING!!!

And I'm going...tonight. I'm quite sure the poor suburb of Kanata won't know what hit it.

Must remember book for signing...and camera!!!!

My neighbour Craig and I like to pretend that the other is interested in our respective obsessions. Email exchanges go like this:

Craig: Hey tonight the Bruins are playing and you are welcome to come park yourself with your knitting on my couch to watch. Cause I know you are a fan...

Lisa: Sorry but the rockstar of knitting (stop laughing!) is coming to town and I am going. You know you can join me...after enjoying the weaving and spinning exhibition so much (and I'm impressed by the fact that you dropped everything to go) are you sure you can miss this? But if hell freezes over, who are they playing and does it really matter?

Craig: Toronto...and of course IT MATTERS!!! By the way, the Bruins are playing at home tonight so I'll be wearing the black jersey...with the same number as their goalie...cause I play like him so he's my favourite.

Lisa: So I have to wear black - but blue and white would probably get me kicked off the couch right?

And on it goes...

Bruins vs. the Harlot - you just know she'd kick their asses.
