Back in cat jail...

...after being on the lam. She managed to go about 200 feet of wild backyard in just over 12 hours. There must have been a LOT to see and do out there. M and I went a-hunting around 9:30 this morning (although I was out there every two hours or so last night to see if she was lurking around the front door) and were just heading home when I decided to walk past the same backyards I walked past last night and this morning...you know...try ONE LAST TIME BEFORE GIVING UP HOPE FOREVER (what can I say, its a defense mechanism) and I caught sight of her under some bushes. She was a bit displeased to be retrieved and very unhappy about being carried (by a human!) since she is not a lap cat and doesn't much like being picked up.

I think my biggest worry was that someone would find her and keep her. Cause she's very pretty!

Thanks Renée for the support! I'm going to have a little lie down now.

Hurray! I'm glad to hear that she's back and that you didn't have to pay ransom to get her out of the SPCA like I did (if you want to read the story, it's back in my December archives).

OMG...Renee - that's hysterical...and annoying. Tell your neighbour there's $20 in it for her next time she finds your cat on her property!
