I try to celebrate a bit the day before - the anniversary of the day I finally went into labour with her. Becoming a parent is such a huge life-altering event -more so than any birthday or anniversary - that I think its important to take a day to remember too. Frankly Mother's Day doesn't do much for me and its too much a Hallmark holiday. So today I am a ten-year old mother and its been quite a rush! I think I'm doing pretty good...although I think I was just lucky to have such a great kid!
